Day 377: Not A Great Day.

A short one tonight as I am extremely busy with planning and researching the best ways to do online learning and it is taking some time to get to grips with things. A friend of mine jested that it must be nice having al this time off. I explained how I am actually working more hours now than when I was actually in school, but I don't think he believed me.


Anyway, as the title suggests, I have not had a great day in terms of healthy eating. I said that if I put something as an option, the option is there. So I had the second donut that was sent to me by my brother in law and, unfortunately, that set me off on a spiral of eating more than I should have. I haven't been anywhere as bad as I would normally be, a couple of after eights and 2 large cookies, but it is is still a lot more than I should have had. It has certainly reinforced the belief that I cannot put unhealthy food as an option in my diet (except when I plan it as a treat and restrict portion size) so that that option is never there.


Tomorrow is not going to be like today, tomorrow is back to being on top. One benefit of slipping like this is that I can now guarantee that eating rubbish in not part of my equation.


I have still exercised, still stretched, still walked about 7,000 steps (yes, I know it's not enough) so only a partial slip. But no more.
