Day 376: What A Donut!

seanfit1973

Today has been all about a delivery of Project D donuts that arrived this morning, courtesy of my brother in law. There were 3 packets and in each there were four donuts. Now, I am not talking regular donuts, these things were huge! They also looked absolutely delicious. Because of this, as I knew that I would be eating one by the end of the day, I decided to do a little extra exercise, walk about 10,000 steps and also do a lot of work in order to say that I have deserved them.

Now, I know that they are not healthy, but I figure that the extra amazing day and the fact that I have been really good must count for something! And believe me, they were delicious. Although, as much as I was tempted to have another, having eaten one there was absolutely no room for another. Instead, I politely declined and have decided that I have eaten enough for today. Best of all was that, despite the donut, I have still managed to stay within my calories.

The rest of the day and night are for a spot of relaxation and reading. My body is certainly, even after a two and a half weeks of exercise, feeling stronger, fitter and thinner...I must be, I can actually put my socks on without sucking my gut in and then breathing heavily for the next ten minutes! Putting on my socks is always an indicator for me that I am losing weight. I wonder if anyone else has these little indicators? Who knows!

Another day of healthiness and exercises tomorrow and I am looking forward to it, despite the fact that Alex (the female presenter and much fitter and more exhausting) is running the videos at the minute. I don't know how she manages to do three of these a day and record them straight through; maybe I'll get there at some point. Hope is always a good thing!

Until tomorrow, stay strong, stay safe and stay healthy.

Thanks for reading.

Sean.
