Day 367: The Day Before.

seanfit1973

Another short one tonight as I am trying to fit this in between family zooms, writing, reading and general other things that sometimes get in the way of this.

Tomorrow, I start back on the healthy eating part of my journey, back on it again after a long lay off. I certainly didn't intend to yoyo during this year, but I think I have explained the reason why I put all the weight back on and more. I will weigh in tomorrow, probably weighing more than I did this time last year, but I also know that I am retaining a lot of water at the minute, so I am hoping to lose at least 5lbs, if not a little more in the first week. After that it should slow down to the 1-2lbs a week I want to lose, to give my skin time to get back into shape.

Additionally, I will also be continuing to exercise, stretching and also making sure that the house is tidy as I am not in work for the next week. I will admit that I am looking forward to starting eating healthily again, and I shall certainly be trying to be positive about everything I eat, no matter what it is, get my psychological link with food and exercise right (thanks for that Jeff). As well as this, I will also be writing this blog every day, whether a long one or even just a few sentences; as long as I am reflecting here, I am reflecting and keeping on track.

Finally, I am not giving myself the option to not eat healthily, to not exercise, to not stretch, to not walk more: that option is never going to be on the table. I know it is going to be hard this time and I am not treating it as lightly as I did the last time. I am armed with experience this time and I am looking forward to the challenges I will face along the way, knowing I have my family and friends (old and new) to help keep me on the right path.

So here is to a fresh new start and back to being healthy, and losing weight in the process.

Until tomorrow, have a great Sunday evening and I hope that your week ahead is as bright as you make it.

Thanks for reading.

Sean.
