Day 153: Energy Loss

Only a very short one tonight as my energy has drained and I am feeling exceptionally tired today. This is why I believe I am very tired and a reflection on that.


The simple and straightforward answer is that I am not eating enough calories during the day. Until 10 minutes ago I had consumed about 839 calories throughout the day. This isn't enough to go through a whole day of cleaning and working and exercising and everything else that comes with it. My energy drain is a symptom of that, I think.


So my idea is tomorrow, during the day, to spread out the calories I have and when I eat them, making sure that I have enough throughout the day to maintain my energy levels. There is lots of fruit and veg in the house, so I can have healthy snacks and keep trying to maintain my energy levels throughout the day, rather than getting to 9pm and feeling like I am going to collapse.


I am seeing food and wondering whether or not I should have it as it will leave me little to eat crap with (in calorific terms) at the end of the day. This is something I shouldn't do!


I was really in the zone this morning and energised and the endorphin hit was amazing. The shower afterwards was as good as the workout and nothing, I felt, could stop me. This is how I want to feel throughout the day, not simply during the morning and then gradually taper off. So that is my plan for tomorrow, something I will reflect on how well it worked. I'm simply going to be a car that needs petrol when it gets low.
