Today has gone well and I have, again, stuck to my seven day challenge. This is a short blog today because I have left it a little late as I have been having a day off (in terms of work) and have found a box set that I am finding hugely entertaining. It's called Future Man. Lots of intertextual references make it a very rewarding watch. I'm not usually a television man but this series is very good...so far.
In terms of exercising and eating today, things have pretty much been the same. I have had an ice cream today, but I have made way for it in terms of not having other things. This way I am still sticking to the calorie total for the day. I am happy with the day in terms of eating and exercise as I have still done my 25 minutes hard hiit this morning and almost, but not quite, 14,000 steps, so I am well on my way to completing this challenge. By the end of it I should have lost at least 2lbs - if not a little more.
for the long term, I don't think that this would be sustainable and it would mean I would probably yoyo, but as a way in to getting myself started back on to the right, healthier road, I think it is great. It is also nice to feel more energised than I normally am and to get out walking and exercising regularly again. I am also adding 20 press ups to my workout to make sure I get some strength in also.
I am very grateful for the ability to go for a walk and see places I don't normally get to see. I am also grateful for chilling days to rest and recuperate my mind.
I know this has been a short reflection today, but I am happy that today I am still going and that is always a good thing. I hope you are too.
Until tomorrow - stay safe and stay strong.
Sean.
