Day 21: A Normal Day.

This is a short and sweet one today, so no boring waffling.

My day has been a normal day, not much happening, not many temptation or cravings. I am not missing junk food or alcohol...today. I am going to give in and have a single malt whisky tonight when I go to bed, two ice cubes to chill it and maybe a small piece of chocolate to help it on its way.

I had porridge for breakfast today, with blueberries and raspberries. I did a lot of exercise (of sorts) through cleaning my classroom and walking the dog and had an email from Fitbit that told me I had done 95000 steps last week, which I am rather happy about: but I want to do more.

I have not had the chance to look up anything on a healthier living today, I shall be doing that tonight in bed. I have not posted on health unlocked.com as I have been busy and I have only been home for 20 minutes (it's now 7.15pm) so it's been a hectic day.

What has been nice for me today has been the ordinariness of everything. I have gone about my daily routine with more energy than I would have done before Christmas, I've eaten food that was good for me and no rubbish and it has been like I have never not been living a healthy lifestyle, like it's a normal routine I've been following forever. It certainly is a sign of progress, I think. However, I have to be careful that this routine doesn't become boring, something that can derail anyone not wary of the pitfalls of apathy.

Tomorrow I'll be reflecting on callousing my mind (a al David Goggins). If you haven't heard of him, you should look him up on YouTube. Disclaimer: he swears...a lot! I shall be talking more about him and how he has inspired and helped me to keep going.

And that's it. A very short, boring and uninsightful post. Tomorrow's post will definitely be a more inspired read as I will not be this tired.

Thanks for reading.

Stay strong.

Sean
